1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke Sip Server 2.2.5.8
2. Java version: version 6
3. OS type and the version: windows XP
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: softphone
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :www.brekeke-sip.com
6. Your problem: I do not get any ringbacktone when I can any user in the network. Tried it with other server like pbxnsip and I get a ringback tone using the same softphone. Other softphone like x-lite do get ringback tone. What do I need to do in the brekeke to be able to solve this problem |

The softphone is adoresoftphone which is made out of india. Their website is www.adoresoftphone.com. I am just surprised that this softphone works with my pbx which is pbxnsip and my talking Sip prepaid platform. However when I use it on brekeke and do not get ringback tone. What are the possible cause of this problem. Would it be the codec priority on brekeke. |

Is the softphone registered in the SIP Server without any problem?
Can you see the registration in the [Registered Clients] list??
Are you using an authentication for INVITE or/and REGISTER?
Try to disable the authentication. |

Yes, I can see the registration of the softphone both wih and without ringback tone. Tried your suggestion to disable the authetication both for INVITE and REGISTER. Still I do not have a ringback tone |

Can you capture SIP packets at the softphone's PC with wireshark (http://www.wireshark.org/)?
So.. you can check that the softphone receives an INVITE packet from the server. |
