1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
SIP-Server 2.1.6.6
2. Java version:
1.5.0_06
3. OS type and the version:
Windows XP (SP2)
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Grandstream GXP2000
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
1 (Everything within LAN)
6. Your problem:
The Grandstream does not register with the SIP server.
I followed the Quickstart Guide, and re-traced my steps a few times -- success is eluding me.
I want to call from computer (x-lite) to UA (GXP 2000); x-lite is showing up as registered client, GXP 2000, again, is not. |

Username and password both check out fine...
I can't figure this one out!
Is there a certain version of .Net I should be using? |

Hi Cowpoke,
If you don't use the authentication at the SIP Server, can GXP 2000 make a register?
Thanks

The GXP2000 is configured - it works with my current VoIP provider. I am trying to configure an in-house network. I used the QuickStart guide - thinking it'd be a snap... ho hum...
I am on the verge of throwing in the towel on this!

Can you send a ping from the server PC to the GXP 2000?
Are you using a firewall on the server PC? |

I can reach the GXP2K from the server PC. (That's how I generally configure it.) They are joined together at the same router. Pinging works fine too... I turned off all my anti-virus/firewalls (to eliminate them as causes).
My suspicion is that the problem is with the GXP2K configuration -- something is not set correctly.
Can I post my phone config to this board? Perhaps you (someone) can review the config and identify what is incorrect in short order...?
Thanks!

Hi Cowpoke,
My company is using several GXP2000 phones and they are working well.
Paste your phone's settings here. I can check it out.
also, let me know the firmware's version. |
