1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP Server 2.0.4.1/206
2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version: Vista Business
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: Grandstream 486 ATAs and Xlite Softphone
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 3
6. Your problem:
Hello, I am new to this product. I am looking for a server to where I can connect ATAs on the LAN and WAN. Does this software do that? I downloaded yesterday and started to find out how to set it up. Right out of the box, I could create users and configure ATAs with the servers on my LAN. Today, I tried to connect to the server using XLite Softphone the same way I did it on the LAN but I can't get it to work. At the begging I thought it was a firewall problem but now I am not sure.
What are the requeriments to accomplish my goal? (If this software is the right one to do it).
Thanks. |

You should explain more about your situations.
Registration problem or you cannot make a call ?
What is the response code? |

I guess the easiest question would be: What do I need to modify on the SIP Server (or firewall) to accept registrations outside of my LAN?
Thanks. |

As I mentioned, I just installed the server and created users and then tested it and it works fine but on the LAN. I haven't made any more changes since I am not sure what to do. I am knew to the product and would like to learn basic configurations.
Where do I have to set global IP Address?
Thanks. |
